Connect. Cultivate. Grow.
The Maryville Community Garden (MCG) is a welcoming space where neighbors come together to grow food, cultivate friendships, and embrace sustainable living. Whether you're an experienced gardener or have never touched a gardening tool, there's a place for you here. We're rooted in inclusivity, creativity, and a shared love of the earth.
Food insecurity is real in our neighborhoods. Too many families don't have reliable access to fresh, healthy food. MCG exists to change that by giving neighbors a place to grow food, learn, and support one another. We encourage our members to share a portion of their harvest with local food banks to nourish neighbors beyond our garden walls.
At MCG, gardening is just the beginning. We offer an evolving range of opportunities to learn and grow together, including:
Shared knowledge between experienced and first-time gardeners
A supportive, encouraging environment for all skill levels
Organic and sustainable gardening education
Soil health, nutrition, and food preservation workshops

From planning and building to planting and beyond, there's always a way help. Whether you can give a few hours or a regular commitment, every hand makes a difference.
Everything we do is rooted in:
Honesty · Inclusivity · Creativity · Enthusiasm · Fairness
